The Judith Room has been formally opened and the delighted Abberley pupils are the beneficiaries of the complete makeover of the Day Room. The room has been named after Judith Brocklehurst, the Foundation Co-ordinator who launched the original design competition for the Day Room. Geoff Brocklehurst, Susannah Hall and Gaynor Cook along with many other volunteers have spent many hours working on the refurbishment, there have been generous donations from parents, staff and local businesses along with proceeds from Judith Brocklehurst's memorial fund.
The Judith Room is located within the heart of the Main School but the room is used by children in the Pre-Prep, day pupils at break times and by the boarders at weekends.
