James Abbott has founded his own distillery in the forest above the stunning village of Saint-Gervais, Mont Blanc, where he uses local ingredients to create a distinctive product. He says about his Gin, called Le Gin 'Of course, the gin is fantastic: as crisp and pure as Mont Blanc air. But what really thrills me is that we’re doing what we said we’d do: making a wonderful product that’s also environmentally responsible. I couldn’t be more proud.' The distillery is entirely sustainable, proving that you can do things without ruining the environment, he does not use plastic or glue but does use solar energy and recycled materials.
